Caroline Evans Childcare – Helping your family flourish!
Caring for babies and children is Caroline’s passion and she feels privileged to be able to share her life with so many special children and families. Every child is unique and it is important to be adaptable to each child and to each family in order to be able to provide them with the best possible care so that both the child and the family feel happy and secure.
Caroline has been working in the childcare profession for the past 20+ years either as a Nanny,Childminder or (more recently) working in Post Natal Care, supporting families, assisting in the care of the newborn and offering breastfeeding support. In addition she runs a Parenting Consultancy service offering baby/child/parenting related advice and support. Caroline is a registered childminder in France. She has extensive experience in newborn care and experience working with multiples and children with special needs, she has also worked with a wide range of ages from babies up to pre teens.
As a childminder Caroline currently focuses on short term or occasional childminding placements, if necessary overnight, looking after the children in her own home which has been fully inspected. However Caroline also offers a nannying and babysitting service, where she can come to you.
For anyone who is experiencing breastfeeding issues Caroline has training and professional experience in breastfeeding support and has a great deal of experience working with breastfeeding mums. The support Caroline offers is in addition of course to the support of the local midwives and lactation consultants should there be one available in the local area.
Caroline has many excellent references available and an up to date first aid certificate and criminal record check. Caroline was registered by the Conseil Générale as a childminder in January 2012 and her registration was renewed again in 2017. In addition Caroline is a fully registered microentrepreneur for the nannying/babysitting and consultancy side of her business.
For any Gite owners if you would like to offer Carolines childcare services to your guests do not hesitate to let her know and she can provide you with some of her business cards and a copy of a simplified Portfolio (CV, references, first aid certificate etc) for you to have on file.

Caroline looked after our two children (5&7) for two days while we’re were on holidays in the Dordogne. She was extremely competent and knowledgeable, and was also really friendly. Our kids loved having her over to our holiday house while we went for two adult day trips. She brought along plenty of age appropriate games and crafts, and the children were delighted to have something new to do.
Overall I think Caroline was lovely and perfect for the job. I would highly recommend her to families needing childminding in the Dordogne!

Caroline has babysat and proxy parented for us countless times over the last 11 years. She was also maternity nanny to our youngest (now aged 10). She is incredibly professional and loving at the same time and the children (even though we now have a teenager) love nothing more than spending time with her. She has been a constant in our lives and anyone else who is able to make her a constant in theirs is incredibly lucky.
Caroline watched our little boy for the day while my wife and I attended a wedding and she was fantastic. As we were on holiday and didn’t have much in the way of toys she came with a box full for Henry to play with, she also brought her son along and for the remainder of our holiday he kept asking when he was going to see them again. She was very flexible and was happy to stay longer than we had originally planned and kept Henry busy with a trip to the park, swimming and painting. We would highly recommend Caroline and will use her again if we are ever back in the area.
As a working single mum I needed someone to help with childcare and Caroline was contacted. Caroline had my son from15 months – 4 1/2yrs..
my son loves going to Caroline’s he is always kept busy with activities and is always given wonderful home cooked food. Also Caroline speaks French with him which has given him an advantage when he started school and did understand what he was being asked. Caroline is a very loyal, understanding, helpful, compassionate, great listener and advice giver. Caroline helped me with my sons potty training and helped me to work out he had a dairy allergy which now he has no dairy he is really happy. nothing is ever too much trouble for Caroline.

I have been using Caroline for many years now and wouldn’t change a thing. Caroline has been marvelous with all my 3 children, very reliable and always so much understanding. The children always came back with something that they created, made or invented. They absolutely love going and having fun. Caroline is fair and her precious experience and support with our Children is priceless.
Caroline’s breastfeeding advice was invaluable to me and without it I may have stopped altogether. Caroline is professional, caring, understanding and experienced.
Caroline has looked after my 4yr old and 10 month old without issue, the 4 year old enjoyed it so much he asked when he could go again! Am sure my 10 month old would have no trouble going again either.
